«IL» Aircraft After-sale Maintenance and Support

The Open Joint Stock Company «IL» provides the following after-sale maintenance and support for ILYUSHIN type aircraft:
  • warranty service;
  • all types of schedule maintenance;
  • repair and refurbishment works, interior renovation (retrofitting), upgrading in accordance with the bulletins and documentation issued by the Chief Designer, development of ILYUSHIN aircraft modifications;
  • drawing up of specialized repair documentation;
  • development of defect tracing and defect elimination methods;
  • design supervision over ILYUSHIN aircraft and aviation equipment;
  • development of documentation required to repair the damages that may occur during the operation of ILYUSHIN-type aircraft;
  • extension of overhaul-period and service life of ILYUSHIN aircraft;
  • bringing up ILYUSHIN aircraft back to airworthy condition after a long-term storage (more than 1 year) or before the ferry flight based on the Chief Designer Programs;
  • ILYUSHIN aircraft technical condition evaluation followed by compilation of proper documentation and troubleshooting;
  • supply with spare parts, aggregates and auxiliary equipment under the urgent or current orders and the components repair;
  • development of repair and operation manuals for the customers including documentation for operation under specific climatic conditions;

  • flight crew and maintenance personnel training, retraining and refresher training courses.

    The 27 The 27 The 27 The 27 The 27 The 27 The 27 The 27th of July,  2006, the Open Joint Stock Company Ilyushin Aviation Complex (OJSC “IL”) put in force the “special registration forms” in order to increase the level of protection of the “Approval decisions on operating and service life of aircraft”, which OJSC “IL” issues to aviation companies. The Decisions provide necessary control of aircraft, where the works on extension of operating and service life have been executed. These measures were taken because of frequent violations by operators of “IL” aircraft of the approval procedure of the extension of operating and service life stipulated by ICAO, IAC and Rostransnadzor requirements currently in force.

 

      A special registration form represents a standard A-4 format sheet of paper with special protective offset marking all over the front side. The OJSC “IL” logotype is in the center of a sheet of paper of portrait orientation. The registration number is in the left bottom corner, and starts with 00001. A printing office can change registration numbers and position of logotype depending on the special registration forms edition ordered by OJSC “IL”. Registration stamp, confirming the strict correspondence of the “Decision” to the established order, is in the left bottom corner next to the registration number.

"Decisions on the approval of operating and service life of aircraft" are issued on registration forms in three copies:

1)    OJSC "IL" reference copy,

2)    for aircraft operator,

3)    for aviation authorities of the state where the aircraft is registered. 

Registration numbers of forms, issued from December 1, 2009, for the aircraft operator and for aviation authorities, will be indicated in a table. 

"Decisions on the approval of operating and service life of aircraft" for Russian operators of "IL" aircraft will be issued only with "registration stamps".
