The IL-114 airplane is a passenger airplane designed for local routes.
The airplane can be operated day and night in good and adverse weather conditions, from small airfields with concrete or unpaved runways.
All flight information and air alert warning display facilities and controls for the onboard systems were unified into the
multifunctional display system. The system outputs the data to color displays at the pilot's console.
The IL-114 has a built-in passenger-boarding ramp and is equipped with an auxiliary power plant in order to ensure its operation
autonomy in poorly organized airports.
The airplane salon is provided with a buffet table, wardrobe and toilet facility.
The first flight was carried out on March 29, 1990.
Test-pilot was V.S.Belousov.
The AR MAK type certificate No.130-114 was obtained in April 1997.
