IL-103 is the Light Multipurpose Aircraft.

The experts from «Aviation Complex n/a S.V.Ilyushin» possess great experience in the development of large and medium-size aircraft for civil and transport aviation, and they did their best to achieve the highest level of safety for the IL-103 airplane and ensure its exclusive production manufacturability providing the mass production for reasonable prices.

The IL-103 possesses a high economic efficiency and reliability. It may be operated in any climatic conditions. It can be operated as an air taxi, a coast-guard patrol aircraft or an aircraft for environmental monitoring. Besides, it can be used by businessmen and in aviation training centers.

The IL-103 can be easily operated at short runways and improvised runways. It is simple in maintenance. Mass production of this airplane is organized at the FGUP RSK «MiG» LAPIK Corporation in Lukhovitsi.

The first airplane took off on May 17, 1994.

Test pilot was - I.I.Gudkov. The AR MAK type certificate No.89-103 АР was obtained in February 1996.

The FAA type certificate No.А45СЕ was obtained in December 1998.
