Throughout the course of history, civil aviation played and is still playing a prominent role in any country’s life. «Ilyushin Aviation Complex» OJSC is proud of its contribution made to the development of Russian civil aviation.

The first mass-produced indigenous Il-12 and Il-14 passenger aircraft paved the way to the foundation of aircraft of civil aviation. Turboprop Il-18 aircraft opened up flying for a wide range of our country’s citizens and was operated for flying international air routes, as well as developed the foundation for aircraft abroad marketing.

Il-62 turbojet long-range aircraft being an «Aeroflot» flagship aircraft and its Il-62M modification ensured highly standard flight safety and passenger comfort, thus helped to proceed with the development of international airlines.

In 1970’s Ilyushin workers succeeded in development and certification of our country’s first wide-body aircraft for 350 passengers – Il-86. Its successor was intercontinental wide-body Il-96 aircraft.

Il-114 aircraft covered regional air transportation services. Currently, «Ilyushin Aviation Complex» OJSC is working on the new-generation aircraft – Il-114-300 that will replace its predecessor.

Heavy transport Il-76TD and Il-76TD-90VD aircraft are successfully operated by Russian and international air cargo transportation companies.

Thus far, Il-type aircraft continues to work for the homeland’s good.

International Civil Aviation Day is celebrated on December 7. «Ilyushin Aviation Complex» OJSC congratulates its workers and civil aviation veterans on their professional day.
