OJSC «Il» employees receive state decorations

By the Edict of the President of the Russian Federation for their major contribution in the development and manufacture of new special-purpose equipment and strengthening of the national defence capability the Order of Honour was awarded to Chief Designer of Joint Directorate for the Il-76 programs Andrey Yurasov; the second class medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland was awarded to flight engineer Alexey Zhuravlyov, Director of Laboratory-bench Facility Vladimir Rybin and aviation instrument and electronics technician Alexander Tsvetkov.

The awards were handed out by Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

Awarding the Order of Honour to A. V. Yurasov.
As Chief Designer of Joint Directorate for the Il-76 programs Andrey Yurasov manages the range of works on modernization of the Il-76 and the Il-78 for the Russian Air Force and civil aviation. Under his leadership new modifications of the Il-76 have been created: the Il-76MD-90 for the Ministry of Defence, the Il-76D-90VD for civil aviation. Directed the process of modernization of the Il-76MF. Was in charge of the preparation and flight testing of the Il-96-300, Il-114, Il-103, Il-76MD, Il-96MO/T. Was also involved in the certification to foreign standards of the Il-96MO/T.
In 2012 he participated in launching of the upgraded military-transport Il-76MD-90A into serial production. Supervised ground testing of all systems of the first prototype that allowed flight testing of this aircraft.

Awarding the second class medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland Order to A. S. Zhuravlyov
During his work at OJSC «Il» flight engineer Alexey Zhuravlyov accomplished a number of complex and critical tasks. He participated in test flights of the Il-38(N, SD), Il-114(T, LL), Il-114-100, Il-76 (MD, TD, MF, MD-90, TD-90VD), Il-96-300, Il-96-400T.
As a flight engineer-instructor he carried out training of flying personnel of “Polyot” airline on the Il-96-400T and NPO Radar on the Il-114LL. He was involved in flight demonstrations on international air shows.
In 2012 he was a member of the crew during the first flight of the Il-76MD-90A.

Awarding the second class medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland Order to V. E. Rybin
Director of Laboratory-bench facility Vladimir Rybin prepared, carried out and participated in flight tests of the Il-96-300, Il-114, Il-38SD and modifications of the Il-76.
He directs workshop, aerodrome and flight tests of the Il-76MD-90A flight and navigation equipment.

Awarding the second class medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland Order to A. B. Tsvetkov
Aviation instrument and electronics technician Alexander Tsvetkov has vast experience in aircraft testing. He was actively involved in testing of the Il-76 modifications. Participated in the flights of the first prototypes of the Il-76MD-90 and Il-76MF.
In 2012 he was a member of the crew during the first flight of the Il-76MD-90A.
