IL-76TD aircraft of Russian Ministry of Emergency to deliver relief consignments to Guinea republic for operations against Ebola

By decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian Ministry of Emergency delivers relief consignments to Guinea republic.

A heavy transport aircraft IL-76TD, designed by Ilyushin Aviation Complex, with more than 37 tons of food stuff onboard, including meat, fish and milk preserves and sugar, takes off from Zhukovsky airdrome to Guinea. Moreover, about 2 tons of medical instruments, consumables and chemicals will be delivered for continuous operation of aintiepidemic team of Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare.

Within the frame of Russian participation in operations against Ebola in August 2014 IL-76TD aircraft of Russian Ministry of Emergency delivered to Guinea mobile biomedical laboratory and personnel of Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. Now this laboratory is based on two KaMAZes and one special car, it operates in prefecture Kindia. It is decided that this work would be prolonged till August 2015.
